Obituary of Charles Farmer Sr

Obituary Charles Frederick Farmer Sr., son of the late Alice Miller Farmer and James Farmer, was born January 13th 1958 in Camden NJ. Charles Sr. received his formal education from the Camden, Lawnside and Macon Georgia school systems. He worked in various places in downtown Camden NJ such as the furniture store, the hat store, the fish market and yellow cab just to name a few. Charles married Virginia Mayo in the summer of 1981. “Charles was a man that always seemed to have the right words to say when you felt down and lonely. He was a loveable husband and a great father to his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Even though Charles and I were no longer together, we still talked and I always listened to what he shared with me. I will miss my husband, my friend for life. I will truly miss you Charles Sr.” On August 13, 2023 Charles Sr. was called home. He is preceded in death by his step father William Sadler (Bill), his siblings Brenda, Angela, Cynthia, James, Richard, Gregory, DeHaven Sr., Robert Sr., and his nephew DeHaven Jr. Charles Sr. leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Denise, his son Charles Jr., stepsons Shannon and Sharon, grandchildren Salema, Charles, Zyionna, Wynn’ter, Taniyah, SirKing, Ka’cee, and great grandchildren Zyleem, Legend, Mahlani, Tahleem. His brothers William and David. His sisters Robin, Sockie, Bonnie, Lady and Denise. His nieces Lakriecka, Rhonda, Angie, Violene, Nina, Dina, Michelle, Celeste and Sadie. His nephews Ricky, Damian, Lamont. His sister-in-law Lynette and good friends Steve, JB, Samee, and a host of friends, relatives and extended family. Lovingly submitted, The Family.
