Obituary
Cheryl Robinson was born in Camden, New Jersey on May 21, 1946 to the late Phyllis Melbourne and Irving “Boots” Robinson. Cheryl departed this life on September 12, 2024 after a long illness.
Cheryl received her education in the Merchantville/Pennsauken School Systems. After finishing, she worked for the Pennsauken School District and a few other jobs before she became employed in Atlantic City, NJ at Trump Towers Casino where she worked for 35 years. Cheryl loved sports and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. She loved her plants and she had many. Cheryl also loved to play games, entertain and party. Having friends and family gatherings were what made her happy.
Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents Phyllis Melbourne and Irving “Boots” Robinson, her sister Andrea Miller, her daughter Sonja Gaines, her son Charles “Peanut” Gaines, Jr., and her great grandson Ralphael Archeval.
She leaves to cherish her memory her brother, Keith (Virgin) Robinson and her son, Dwight Robinson. 10 grandchildren: Jamee, Stephanie, Shanita, Alycia, Erik, Cheryl, Tyler, Joseph, Portia, and Michael; 10 great-grandchildren; special friend and cousin Philip Benson, Aunt Margaret “Socky” Johnson, and a host of other relatives and friends.
