Louise completed her formal education in the Pittsylvania County School,
graduating from Gretna High School.
After graduation Louise moved to Washington, DC where she had two daughters,

After several years in Washington Louise moved further "North", to New

Louise met and married Obery Adams in 1963. To this union two children were born.

to do an efficient job at Broadway Family Center.
Louise was in the toddler classroom for 10 plus years. Retirement was in the plans.
All these positions were fulfilling, however the most fulfilling position Louise
held was
First Lady of the Free Gospel Holy Church in Camden.
Retirement was a reality in 2002. Louise and her husband relocated "BACK
HOME" to Gretna,Va.
In her retirement Louise enjoyed gardening, cooking, and watching her two favorite
soap operas, All My Children and The Young and the Restless. Also, Christmas was
one of her favorite holidays.
After the passing of her husband in 2012 Louise returned to New Jersey to be
closer to family. Louise enjoyed a few years
with her family before she became ill.
Louise joined The St. John Baptist Church in Pennsauken in 2020.
Even during her illness whenever ask, "how are you feeling?" She would respond " I
feel fine"!
We believe Louise is truly FINE now resting in the arms of our Savior.
