Obituary of Rashida Bishop
Rashida Bishop entered into this world on June 3, 1967, in Philadelphia, Pa. She is the middle daughter of Doris and Elmer Bishop.
In her early years she was educated in the Camden school system and later attended Camden County College, where she earned an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts. Rashida was a faithful employee for 30 years at the Camden City Board of Education, and worked for the Camden Housing Authority.
Rashida was a beautiful lady who enjoyed life to the fullest. One of her greatest joys was the birth of her son Rashid. She enjoyed traveling, and she was very fashionable. She started early with fashion and attended the John Roberts Modeling School of Philadelphia. Rashida even designed her own clothes. She loved clothes, shoes, and hats, and every outfit had to be topped off with the perfect accessories which included manicures and pedicures. Rashida personified excellence in everything she did. She was 'The Diva' that was loved and admired by many. Rashida would be seen at various events, and when she entered the room her presence was known, especially with her smile which brightened the room. Most people who knew her, knew her as the lady with "the little white dog" (Shaq.) Rashida had a straight forward personality with a huge heart of gold. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her parents Elmer and Doris Bishop, her son Rashid Watson, sisters Sedera Thompson (Ben Thompson, brother in law) Lakisha Bishop, nieces & nephews, Tywann Gibson, Shakeema Gibson, Zaire Bishop, Danielle Daniels, great niece & nephews, Bre`niyah Gibson, Shakeem Gibson, Shaad Gibson, sis, Esha Washington-Chase, God children, Tangier & Tyrik Washington, Darrell Wilson, and other relatives and close friends
