My prayers are with your family.
Miss. Moselle was like second “mother” to me.
She was a pillar of the neighborhood.
She and other parents made an extreme effort to ensure we kids were safe, stayed away from negativity, and provided herself (and other parents) as roll models.
I remember visiting her about 13 years ago. She was still living on Sheridan St.
She was the last of the family’s I grew up with that was still living on Sheridan St.
We talked about her sons(the late SonnyDavis) and Raymond Davis, who I grew up with.
I invited her to California. She said “maybe some day”.
Then she said, “ Larry, the next time you come through here I will be living some where else”.
I remember Miss Moselle teaching us how to make ice cream in her kitchen.
Sincerely,
Larry A. Jones Major (Retired) United States Marine Corps.
You will be missed. Gods Speed.
Larry

I am very sorry for your loss. May Jehovah the God of all comfort be with your family during this difficult time. We await the coming promise " when no resident will say I am sick. " ( Isaiah 33 : 24 )

A loved one lost can grieve the heart and make us yearn for tomorrow when God will keep the promise he made of no more death, no more pain, and no more sorrow.
