Obituary of Carole Davis

Carole Ann Davis (Lewis) was born on October 7, 1945 to the late parents Earl and Beatrice Davis. Carole was born in the city of Camden NJ. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. Carole enrolled in Nursing Program which she completed and later became employed at Cooper Medical Hospital in Camden NJ. Carole had various positions , one of which at Wawa where she served as a clerk and touched the hearts of many where she served them with a Godly smile. Carole married William "Bill" Lewis, they were together for over 40 years. Carole loved being around her family and friends. She also loved getting her hair done with her sister Sheila Davis and shopping with her friend Cynthia Miller. Carole loved doing puzzles and watching western movies and Lifetime. Carole enjoyed reading countless books especially Harlequinn Romance novels which her sister Arlene Mayo would bring her during her visits to Camden. Carole loved spending time with her son Duncan Eric Davis in which they brought great laughter and joy to one another. Carole attended St Matthews Church in Del Air, NJ. As a result of her illness, she was no longer able to attend but during her stay at the Abigail House Carole would attend bible study and Sunday services. Carole leaves to mourn her son Duncan Eric Davis also six additional children by marriage Elmira Lewis (deceased) , Darlene Davis, Michele Wilson (Robert), William C Lewis, Gary Lewis (deceased) Antoinette Davis , Garlin Russell (deceased) a host of grand kids and great grand kids. Carole was preceded in death by her sister Arlene Mayo, Glenda Davis and brother David Davis. She leaves to mourn her brothers and sisters Barbara Davis, Donald Davis, Dwain Davis, Garry Davis and Sheila Davis (special caregiver) host of nieces and nephews and cousins.
