We were very sad to learn of Bill’s sudden passing. He was the childhood friend of my mother and they had re-established their friendship in the last decade visiting the National Museum of African American History and Culture in its inaugural year, taking car rides, and enjoying Rita’s frozen treats. He was a fun and steady friend. Our sympathy to Bill’s family and friends. He will be missed.
