Harold Edward Johnson born on January 10, 1947 to parents Alvin Paul Turner and Eleanor Eloise Turner went home to be with the Lord June 5, 2016. He is preceded in death by by his parents Alvin Turner and Eleanor JohnsonTurner his brothers Allan Turner (Uncle Budd) Nathaniel Turner (Pogo) and late wife Joyce Finger Johnson. He received his baptism at an early age at St Pauls Baptist Church in Cinnaminson NJ. In early childhood years he lived in East Riverton Cinnaminson and later moved to Camden NJ. Harold was educated in the Camden Public School Systems and later furthered his education with the armed services. Harold was one of the few laborers as the world speaks of. He was a laborer by trade and worked at the naval ship yard for many years and a laborer for Christ. Though the task at hand required cold and tiresome hours he never complained yet found peace and joy in the midst of his circumstances no obstacle was too big. Harold knew what it meant to lay down your life for the brethren. He as a young man at the age of eighteen enlisted in the US army and served for eight years. During these years he reached the rank of sergeant and was stationed in Korea. He was a soilder in one of the most memorable wars known to the US, the Vietnam war. Harold had taken a strong interest in hunting and fishing. He was often found with a fishing pole and a tackle box tucked under his arms spending many hours on the banks of the river. Here is where he found solace and relaxation and oneness with nature. He enjoyed the simplicity of life such as dancing to slow jams, cartoons and comedy. He posed a cheery disposition and was found to be a loving and kind individual. He placed family as a high regard in life he was loved by many. He leaves to mourn his sisters Evine Carter (Gerald) Mildred Murray (Samuel) Patricia George (Edwin) brother Gary Turner special and dear friend Mary and children John and Crystal Robinson, Teresa Broadway whom he loved as a daughter aunts uncles and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
